About Us

UCC SVP Society is the oldest charity society in University College Cork.

Our ethos is a simple one: we strive to support any individual or group in need of help regardless of age, gender, race, social background, political beliefs, religion or lack of religion and sexual orientation.

We run eight weekly activities throughout Cork, working with some of the most vulnerable people in society. This, combined with a number of on-campus events and appeals helps raise both funds and awareness for the work that we do.

We are not only a charity thought! We are also a college society and we do enjoy the craic! We hold lots of entertainment and social events during the year so feel free to come along (You don’t have to be a member!)
